Physical Description Nira is a beautiful woman who can tend to attract easily. She has good curves and has the build and endurance of a dancer, of which she is. Her Betazoid tan adds to her beauty, and being adopted by an Arabic family from Earth, it's easy to mistake her as a Arab human from a distance.

What is their relationship like with their family? The Saids have raised Nira, hence changing her surname to Said, and she gets along warmly. She misses her parents, adoptive or otherwise, greatly.

Nira was always fascinated with detective stories and mystery stories, and had fancied herself as an investigator; she found that her mind had grazed upon secrets in thoughts that she sensed, but never dug further as she was respectful to others. She also enjoys puzzles, particularly chess, as a means to determine strategy, as well as the occasional game of chance like poker, because games of chance were unpredictable.

Brief History Nira was born on Betazed some time before the planet joined the Federation. Her parents were killed by Klingons in a raid and thus she harbored a grudge for a long time. She was taken into adoption by the Saids, Amid and Parisa. Amid later fought in a battle against Klingons, returning home wounded with metal blades he took from Klingon warriors and reforged into Jambiyas gifted to Nira. Parisa raised Nira alone, dying of disease. When Parisa died, Nira, alone as she was, joined Starfleet Academy.

Nira was a little cautious, particularly with her telepathy. The last thing she needed was an accusation of cheating. Aside from that, in any case, Nira never felt happy as she did at the Academy. She especially appreciated the green and the environment around the Academy.
Service Record 2266 - graduated from the Academy, assigned to USS Nimitz security department. Promoted to Lieutenant JG four months later after performance against Klingon boarders.

2267 - Promoted to full Lieutenant in battle against Kzinti with loss of department head.

2268 - Exploration and distinguished services in confrontations against Klingons and Kzinti.

2269 - Promotion to acting Executive Officer and Lieutenant Commander after raid against Kzinti. USS Nimitz heavily damaged and returned to spacedock. Lt Commander Said transferred to Outpost Sara to await new orders.
